Cards and Queries, Part 2: Reading into the Future
Delving into a three-month reading with the Coven Spread.
Welcome back to the second installment of our Cards and Queries series, where I answer questions and provide insights based on your playing card readings. In each post, we delve into your spreads, exploring the deeper meanings and combinations of the cards to enhance your understanding and skills in the Arte.
Today, I’ll be addressing another reading shared by a subscriber, with their permission, who looked into the next three months of her life using a general spread. Let’s dive into her interpretation and explore what the cards have to say.
Dear HedgeWytch,
I did this reading today for myself with the intention to look into the future 3 months. I had no specific question, so it was a general reading. I also did not use the joker card (I didn't have it in my deck this time). I also did not choose a significator for myself from the deck.
I am sharing with you my spread in 3 images:
The spread unmarked
The spread marked with the initial circles of how I read the cards in pairs as per what you have shared in the text from the notes I have. Each 2 circles marked in the same color were read as a pair.
The directions I think the spread can be read marked by arrows of different colors for ease of visibility.
Reading in Pairs
Theme: 8♣ = we are looking at practical matters, a lot of communication and back and forth.
1. Q♥ + 6♠: The lady leaves something behind (or goes on a trip that yields no result?) -- this is an issue for me, I cannot discern when to use which interpretation.
2. 9♣ + 7♥: A troubled heart/emotions that cause a practical change, or a change in priorities in the work field.
3. 4♣ + 6♦: I see this as a step towards financial achievement that brings about work stability. (In locations, this would be a car garage?)
4. 2♠ + 4♠: A conflict over an ill-written contract? Or a conflict that causes instability? Legal issues?
5. 3♠ + 6♥: Something lost during a vacation OR the end of a family trip/vacation?
Arrows and Directions
Turquoise Arrows: 2♠ + Q♥ = The lady will experience a conflict, 5♥ + 3♠ = A loss of health OR a loss of a jewelry item/object. 4♣ + 6♠ = work stability lost OR (I have a feeling there is more to this but I cannot put my finger on it). 6♥ + 7♦= Spiritual/psychic pursuits (this is 100% biased interpretation).
Deep Blue Arrows: 2♠ + 8♣ + 4♠ = A work-related lawsuit/case/court call. 4♣ + 8♣ + 6♦ = Meetings and discussions yielding work stability (not sure if I see the 6♦ here as financial growth OR financial gain).
Red Arrows: 2♠ + 5♥ + 4♣ = a conflict with a friend from work. Q♥ + 3♠ + 8♣ + 6♥ + 6♠ = (This is a long shot, but I will try anyway) The lady foregoes family travel plans because of practical/work related problems adding up.
Yellow Arrow: 9♣ + 5♥ + 8♣ + 7♦+ 7♥ = A change of heart and priorities causing a shift from practical application and focus, to spiritual focus. (again, I read this with a bias because I know myself)
How did you find the above? What did I interpret correctly and what did I miss? Is there anything I can do better and/or change/avoid?
